Not a power failure, just a software crash. Every map change has no response for a couple minutes.... And then when I can connect, it's just a few people when I get ingame, and they all say the same thing... Can't connect after map change.

Haven't searched for other threads on this, but it seems the server is crashing on map change. Doesn't respond for a couple minutes on every map change.

Even when a hard drive crashes, it's still possible to recover data. A few years ago a friend from work had his home hard drive crash, and he had all his financial data on it. I can't remember what software I used, but I was able to recover all his financial data. It was a free open source...

Wow! If they went to any company to move MySQL +php front end from one host to another they'd be hit up for thousands. I would think that even $250 or $500 would be a no brainer. Also, don't think that after you copy everything it will work okay. I've moved php / MySQL DB's a few times...

Didn't see this thread was moved. Thanks for all the kicks to the groin :) I don't need to worry about browsing from work. I manage the network and am the one they call to research inappropriate use of the internet :) Hope the server's up soon. See you ingame! -Skeptik
