my c: is full, and i want to get more steam games. is there any way to put them on the next drive ??

Q2: if i reinstall steam into a different drive and reinstall all the games, will i lose my borderlands ans stalker saves ?

2 ) Relating to one of the steps in answer 1 (posted above), as long as you don't delete the SteamApps folder, you will not lose any saved games.

yeah, so i ran into a tsunami of windows security problems !!!

i ended up reinstalling steam and it wont even let me do that !

its says updating, gets to 27% and gives me this:

error 1 : steam.exe (main exception) : ERROR: deleted steam.exe but the file is still there

how did my star craft2 folder get fully deleted ?? how can steam invade independent forlders !? wtf ?

after that, i run steamnew.exe or steamtmp.exe i get

error 2: updating 0% complete
steam is temporarily unalailable, please try later


there is some windows permissions faggotry thats blocking steam from modifying itself.





it deleted my entire d: !!! WTF !!!! the only file left on there is starcraftII.exe !!!! MOTHERFUCKER WTF !!! fuuuuck, and i was hiding my steamapps in there too, fuuuuuuuuck !!! fuuuuuuuuuck fuck fuck fuck fuckfuc kfc stupid fucking win7 ,,, fuuuuuuuuuuck, all my games lost . fuuuuuuuuuuuuck

SOLVED !!!

it was a service issue. needed to enable "application experience" service. whadda fuck lol. still lost all my saves, lvl 25 BL character and fully beaten stalker 3, but i doubt i would have returned to it anyway.

fml, dling all games now

Yes - do a system restore. It will bring EVERYTHING back to the way it was. Just hope you made a system restore not much earlier before you had a lot of shit.
