Can an admin define griefing?

I was wondering what griefing is defined as on this server. Toxins and Rebels invaded my base and claimed everything there and would follow me through each spawn when I tried to get back to farming and keep killing me whenever I was around. The only clue to why they did it was because I know where their base is.

I would define griefing as going to some ones house, and destroying/breaking parts of it for no reason what so ever.
I would also define it as repeated spawn killing of the same person.

However, being that this is a Faction PVP server, what we did is normal under the circumstances.
People raid on these kind of servers, and that is what we did.

It would have been grief if we constantly killed you, or even if we made a huge hole under your /home so that you died each time you re-spawned.

Either way, I personally wanted your sword, the others just backed me up in the fight.

And what Zack said it's PvP Factions it was just a faction raid.

Except when I was getting camped and couldn't relocate, because others members would follow me. I don't mind the weapon/armor but the camping after and following me to keep killing me was griefing. Plus the exploit with people disconnecting when I knocked them off was interesting to see so they didn't die from falling.

Well that's the point you sit it out and wait until they get bored of following you.
Or try and confuse them by teleporting all over the place until they lose track of you and give up.

Or there is always offering them a bribe to call it quits. :P
