Can't get sprays to work

Anyone have anyclue why i can't get my spray to load. I've tried to make a few new ones, simple jpeg images and everytime i try to laod them it says its corrupt

Try loading any picture that isn't a dick, then it should work.

New size/filetype restrictions which causes the pic to load as "corrupt".

OK this dont work. WTF! I can't save a file as a vtf or whatever before i open that editor and if i open the editor before i save as that i can't find any of my spays

Ok 1 I'm and idiot I was trying to open the image not "import" it so i loaded my image in paint made it 256x256 and saved it then imported it into that editor then saved in in my cstrike folder as a vtf or wtf and click load in game and it doesn't say corrupt anymore it just doesn't say anything and wont load

Ok, i tested multiple tga images, and all work, regardless of dimensions.
