Duplicated Items

Howdy,

How can we tell if an item has been duplicated? I know it has something to do with the history/owner of the item, but never been able to figure it out on my own.

Usually backpack.tf automatically puts a "Duped?" tag on items, but if you were to do it manually you can tell you can use this guide which explains how to track down both of the exact same items and compare them. http://www.tf2pricecheck.net/Thread-How-to-tell-if-a-dupe
