Hey guys, I was just wondering what global awards are. I achieved this award twice with two weapons: Ak47, and Famas. I know the daily awards a different thing...but what the hell are these global awards?

Here's the thing though...now that I have an ak47 and famas global award...will that be taken away from me as soon as someone overtakes 1st position in # of kills with that weapon? And how many kills are required at minimum to get the global award. Because technically the 1st guy to get a kill with any weapon would be the new leader when stats reset.

He's right, something like the past week or two weeks. If you have the most AK kills in that time you will hold the global award for it. Daily awards are self explanatory

i stoped careing about the awards simply because they dont show any kind of skill, only persistence. back when i was checking every day who got them i would get the scout award 4-5 times a week and i was #1 scout rateing on the server for a little while. this is not because i was the best scout. buckshot kills me 2 thirds of the time and its about 50 50 if i run into shortbus. i was winning because unlike buck and SB i only ever buy a scout. its the only gun i realy enjoy useing.

Yep as soon as someone overtakes you they get the global award. Yes, when stats are reset obviously the global awards will change hands several times for the first couple days or so.
