I haven't seen any of them or read the books. I guess now that it's all over I'll give it a shot.

SJ do both. I read the first 4 books, and watched all the movies, except the last. Great movies if u like adventure/magic shit. 4.7 out of 5 stars for me. (rank for all movies but the last)

Deathly Hallows part2 is my favorite out of all the other movies. I really recommend seeing it in 3D.

I enjoyed it, mainly for the Dark Knight Rises trailer lol.

But in all seriousness - check out the Hunger Games books, I hope they don't bomb the movie transformation but it's bound to happen
