This is for an iTunes error that occurs when trying to download apps from the App Store through iTunes and/or when trying to sync Apps from iTunes to your iPhone/iPod. It will ask you to authorize your computer (even though you already have) and when you enter your Apple ID and Password, it spits up:
"An unknown error occurred (-50)".
Here's the fix
1 ) Click this link:

2 ) Follow it, exactly.
3 ) Make sure to set a new location, naming it "Home"
4 ) Voila, shit works.
It worked for me first time, and I've gone months with this issue. Hours upon hours of googling, and I stumbled on this link on a random forum. Hopefully, no one shares this problem that I used to have, but if you do, then hopefully this works for you as it did for me - first time, no hassles.
