So i picked up a used foil power kite pretty cheap while i was on vacation and i'm planning on getting into snow kiting. wondering if any TD guys have any experience with it. also, i need a harness and a board, so if anyone knows a good place to buy or has something for sale, let me know.

Would have no troubles getting a wind-surfing board and equipment out here in Australia...wind-surfing boards are shorter than snowboards but probably would work well on snowy hills.

That'd be damn fun to try...unless ur kite kept getting snagged on trees n shit.

It's not a cheap sport to get into, most entry-level equipment starts around $1000 even used.

i got my kite for 150. its a bit small for the typical winter windspeeds around southern ontario, but meh it was basically dirt cheap. ive been seeing harnesses go for about 100 bucks and some boards for less than 100. as far as boards go, i basically need something that will stick to my feet and slide on ice/snow.

Get a snow skate or a snowboard.
For a harness you should make it more like wakeboarding, something you can just hold on to

What if you got some air, and you lagged mid air and let go. You got yourself a broken anus.
