Left 4 Dead - Fan Film

It was really, really well done. But honestly once Chief and all the other characters joined I felt it was a throw off.

In terms of production it was amazing, but I would prefer they stuck to the original

for sure. They probably didn't have the budget for that sort of thing. was sort of :( about the lack of Bill, too. It wouldn't have bothered me so much since as we all know Bill dies in the series...but if we're to assume these events transpired after Bill's death then it makes no sense that they don't know wtf a witch is D: [/nerdrage]

I DIDNT KNOW HE DIES IN THE SERIES

Yeah, I was pretty pissed. I loved me some old man Nam Vet Bill, always jonesin for pills. There's a mission in L4D2 that is retardedly hard where you need to use generators to get a bridge to work, and in the end, the generators jam and someone has to go back and re-start them while you get bombed by 8 tanks. The story is that Bill is the one who goes back and makes it happen. Then, in the sequel, the new heroes show up and you find Bill's old corpse and his rifle. It was a serious QQ moment. Bill was my favorite character in the story, by far.

Me neither really. I enjoyed the first one more. Dual Pistols was all I needed in that shit. I just rifled tanks and that was it.

The second one had it's moments, but the heroes sucked ass. You have the redneck, the arrogant douche, the stereotypical black chick and the fat black dude who loves chocolate. All lose, all the time. The only good part of L4D2 was that they re-did some of the L4D missions with the OG characters... including the aforementioned Bill Death scene. They're way more fun. Melee weapons are definitely nifty, but L4D2 just didn't do much for me. Not sure why.

Opposed to the varied and multi dimensional characters we saw in Left 4 Dead 1? Biker Dude, Token Chick, Stereotypical old man vet and Some Guy With a Tie. :p
