Mozilla Thunderbird

OK ... I have had it with Outlook 2007. It is a complete piece of shit. It no longer closes completely ... hangs up ... and creates errors on a regular basis. Maybe one of you fags have used Thunderbird and can tell me your thoughts. I need to sync my Iphone to it for my contact info ... how easy is it to import contacts from Outlook 07 ... can I import my .pst files ... have heard it doesn't work with 07 but not sure.
How does it run .. is it OK ... or just a screwed up as Outlook ...

sup death i use thunderbird on my personal computers, at work i have outlook 2003. From my side both are basically the same features, calendar and email. i much prefer the thunderbird interface.,

For thunderbird you have to add the "lightning" addon for the calendar component, i am also using minimize to tray to shrink it down to beside the clock when not in use.

Once you get it up and running, it's a great program. With the new interface in version 3 it's really nice to use.

I've used it since it came out. gets the job done just great and pulls in emails from all of my accounts. it will import outlook contacts no problem.

I don't have any problems with it except for some reason I'm unable to get my yahoo account on it... it keeps being unable to connect to the login server but I still getting my gmail, rogers and hotmail on there...
