Not a player of minecraft but wanted see what this 'griefing' issue was about and found this:

It gives a list of ways players grief on minecraft servers and links to plugins to prevent said behavior. Not sure if it's completely up to date, but I figure it can't hurt to try n use it as a reference for plugins n mods
