Preparing for the Apocalypse!!!

Well I'm new to the forums so I hope there's not a thread out there for this. We all know the world is coming to an end in the year 2012. Everyone has predicted it. While many are not sure how it will happen I'm sure it will have something to do with zombies! While my knowledge is vast in seeing almost every zombie movie ever made, and playing any game with a zombie mode.... I finally bought my first gun a few months ago. A nice Beretta 9mm. I love it! I was wondering if and who has what guns of their own and how they like them. I will be looking to make another purchase and adding to my collection soon! Any comment about zombies is always good talk too.

as for zombies, first thing is one would need to build a zombie proof suit.

i'm seeing the use of hockey equipment and lots of ductape

human teeth cant rip through plastic, so if you can protect yourself from bites you can survive that much longer, so far as i know zombies dont know karate.


then i dont know.. wonder around.

id probably go north, into the cold, and wait till the zombies die out or whatever.

zombies as far as i understand, are living, but simply mutated, and do in fact have a life expectancy.

Its not gonna be the end of the world you crazy mofos. On December 21 2012, the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar (Mayan) completes it's 13th cycle. Meaning the Mayan calender ENDS on that day.
Something will most likely happen, but not the end of the world. Some sore of evolution maybe?

Yeah well I think I need to get me a Remington 870 shotgun. I hear its a really good one and not too expensive. Nothing like shooting people, I mean zombies with a shotgun. Or duel pistols like lara croft :)

Guns are great! ...until you run out of fucking ammo! That's why I've also stocked up on an assortment of swords: double-edge broadsword, a katana that can connect with the sheath to form a spear, a regular katana, a combat knife, and 3 throwing knives for desperation use.

as for tha apocalypse, just stock up on canned food, water and ammo. board up and reinforce your house. there WILL be LOTS of zombies. you have to be prepared to blast your loved ones if they turn undead! beretta is a great gun, until it jams ! glock is the most reliable of the 9mm. but for the undead you will need more stopping power, like a bigger handgun, shotty or rifle. keep a full auto kit around for fast installation. flamethrower is good too !
