actually it was people coming in from around the city, the real citizens cleaned up the next day.

You deserve a dunce cap for this statement. I was part of this protest which is not a "fuck you world" protest. It was a fuck you Harper for putting this shit in a downtown core of the largest city in Canada. Halting business for 7 days, fucking up city, and, spending shit load of cash on "security" that could have been spent on better things.
First the Toronto Riots/looting were spawned By 50 or less "blackblock" (or so the media labels it). Most of he stores targeted were big box all down queen street, a cop car was LEFT ALONE and EMPTY by police and *Duh* someone set it on fire. THOUSANDS of others were in peaceful protest not having ANY issues until of course the police brutality started.

People don't see the reasons why. They see the violence and the burning buildings and the riot police. Those riots embarrassed this entire country to the rest of the world. They didn't give a shit why. They just saw retard Canadians. That might not be "The truth", but when you grow up, you'll realize that people don't give a shit to look beneath the surface. They see what they want to see. Thus the expression "It only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole damn bunch".
Yes, it is important to know the facts, but despite the "truth" facts for people who do the research, there is another "social" fact, which is that the a much larger majority of people who watch the news and read the headlines didn't do the research for the truth. Few people do. They take the easy version because it's easier to understand. Is that ignorant? Yes. But it's the world we live in.
Sorry my thoughts require more than 7 syllables to express. Allow me to speak the language of the more simple folk.

Let's hear you DEFEND THE ARGUMENT that the rioters were NOT the worst sports fans ever.
Let's not play the pussy card and twist the statement around and say "Oh, well they're not sports fans" or "Oh, well that doesn't count."
I made my statement, you made yours. So defend your statement with some logic and back up your words, or establish that YOU are just a bitter fuckin child playing "Cool kid" who doesn't think I'm a "Cool kid" because I don't agree with everything you say.
You this, this is what children do. They get their panties in a twist whenever anyone isn't exactly like them. You see, mature adults aren't afraid to disagree with one another. It's the process of disagreeing, looking objectively at one anothers arguments, and seeing the truth in both sides that is responsible for social and scientific process. It's called Synthesis. You start with one viewpoint, known as a thesis, take the opposite side of that point, known as the Antithesis, and you find the agreeable medium that incorporates the truth in both sides, the "synthesis".
Now, given how you have established that you are basically just a child looking for synchophantic morons to agree with everything you say to prevent you from ever having to "Synthesize" new opinions, I could give a fuck what you think of me because clearly, you are content to be ignorant and have no desire to grow beyond the tiny little bubble your pretty little head lives in.
But, for my entertainment, spew out some ignorant bullshit that requires the IQ of mayonnaise to state to I can take comfort in knowing that you are just as much of an ignorant fuckin douche bag as I posit you to be. When the target of the bullying stands up for himself and shows he will not be intimidated, the bully will gather a gang of like-minded people and possibly some weapons IE a ban, and the intimidation will intensify in the hopes of probvoking the desired "Fear" response.
