Can't wait for another tourney so let's do another. Depending on how many players we get I'm going to break up everyone into groups and start off with a round robin style and go from there, just like the world cup.

and if you can only play 1 day out of the week, dont join cuz then you fuck it up for everyone, unless you're willing to run 9 games in one night

Not necessarily, we can break it up into pools/divisions/tiers, then have tier 1 round robin and tier 2 round robin.

At least this would drop the amount of games to be played per tournament step to a more manageable level

After round robin, Top seeds could face, lower seeds enter lower bracket. Losers from top tier fall to lower bracket and face winners of lower bracket. etc. etc.

Basically any tournament ever run. More complex, yes, that's why the likes of Brains can be 'a problem'.

This is for everyone but mostly Brains, if you don't show up to a time you scheduled without a valid excuse, you will have to deal with BIOP.

the more complicated it is the harder it is for people to get things done.

the responsibility really lies with the participants.

BIOP, are you going to impose penalties? Rules? Formats? Map Restrictions?

I will make the format / rules once we see how many people we get. As for maps, I am going to make it that the lower seed always gets to pick the map. (The higher seed will get one or two vetoes).
