But they have so many stories they can tell. As a fan of the expanded universe I'm interested in seeing what they can do with it.
It most definately won't be as good as the original movies but with Lucas only consulting they might be able to make decent movie out of it.

Long as Lucas himself has no say in the script we are good.

Disney has done some amazing things with Marvel, just look at Avengers. :)

They have already said the new trilogy will be a completely new star wars story.

I just hope they use the expanded universe characters for it..

Jacen, Jaina, Anakin, Ben etc


It is to much to hope for a thrawn movie. :(


And they can't really base another trilogy around three old as fuck actors.

Or maybe the origins of the Jedi. A story that they've alluded about in the books but never expanded on. Also they could as far as legacy of the force and have the main character Cade Skywalker then they can have cameo's from all of teh original characters and not have to worry about them being so old.

Hmm...will this be the end, or the beginning?

If they keep with EU Timelines and actually film events that occurred correctly and in detail, I think Disney is going to make an nice profit.

If not, burn in hell Disney.

Without searching anything, I have decided based on speculation...that the movie should be based on Yoda's childhood and being bullied until he too was picked up by a pedophile who told him he had supernatural powers, as well as being bullied on account of his speech and greenness (but "It's not easy being green"). He would then get the help of a jerk with a dumb pet/friend/possible lover who they would fight some large enemy with until the pedo inevitably dies and after countless deaths of extras with ridiculous names (ie. Porkins) they would succeed in destroying whatever large moon/space station/dance club they made. The end.
