i wanna propose again the idea of "darkly points" awarded through biweekly contests where the player with the most kills with a specific weapon within the timeframe gets limited-time access to a reserved slot created on the pub for this purpose. the selection of weapons for the contest would rotate between the weaker pistols to mitigate incentivizing its use (the knifing contest proved that most players aren't willing to nuke their stats just to get by without automatic guns). that's about all there is to it. i think it would introduce a new element of interest to the pub as players try to hang onto their stats while making more use of last-resort weapons to compete for a slot that soothes the pain of having to wait to connect when the server is busy every night.

yea i'm sure the concept can be applied to any number of rewards, i just figure one reserved slot wouldn't make a negative difference because the server is full with or without it but at least that way regulars could have a hope at winning a week or two free of having to wait for an open slot.
