TD Meet - Golf or BBQ + soccer or Jays game - which will it be?

I'm suffering from fag-withdrawl, so there needs to be a TD meet soon.

I'm entertaining the idea of golf simply because there seems to be a huge interest in a TD Golf Meet. It's the summer and it's World Cup year so BBQ + soccer would be quite fitting. Lastly, we could all go to a sports game and with hockey and basketball season over for Toronto, the only thing left is a Jays game, and we could head out to a bar afterwards since it'd be downtown anyway.

What do you fellers think?

I am definitely down for golf. In fact I am more than willing to give lessons to anyone that would like to meet me early ...we can have a few beers / wings in the clubhouse after ... then I can decide who and how many will come for a ride in the van. Great idea, put me down.

Ok, but if it *is* golf, do we have to book anything (for a group)? Also, I don't know of any good golf courses...

golf gets boring really fast when you play with people who dont know what the fuck they are doing

you just end up sitting on the grass and talking, having some beers, which could be accomplished successfully in a park minus all the preppy prep bullshit of a golf course

Yea BBQ + Football is a much better idea for a big group.
No one needs to be there at a certian time people can come and go as they please and the best of all, BBQ is cheaper.
And If people get motivated we can play some Football.

Tell you what Spinny ...you and I will golf! We can ride in the cart together and go in the woods to look for lost balls... the mind starts to wander at the thought. I am serious about the golf. We can book a 9 hole course which is usually not busy ... cost would be around $25. Then go to a park for BBQ and concealed alcohol.
