started crashing my pc (lock up with vertical grey stripes) when i hit apply to set the 2 screen (extended) desktop. used to work fine before. gpu, why yuno work !?

fucked up copy/paste in console and has been for a while. cant fucking highlight shit properly in console, lights up the whole line and sometimes copies the wrong shit. makes copying SID's very inconvenient. anyone experience this and more importantly, whats the fix?
