Pop was advertising this message on the Minecraft #4 server around 10:20pm EST:
{TSS}pop101ster : selling email servers, one key each, (meaning you can have you email be [whatever]@[whatever].[whatever]).

14bux and I had asked him what exactly an "email server" was and this was his reply:
{TSS}pop101ster : its a server for ones email, meaning you can have your email be whatever you want

Already knowing I wasn't actually going to buy this so called "email server" I traded him to get more information as to what it was, etc. I figured it was some sort of scam attempt for an in-game item.
Note: I never traded the items to Pop

Immediatly after the incident I asked a few other people including Cmp and Kharn if they thought this was a scam attempt and they both agreed that it was.
Kharn then went to #4 but before he could temp ban him for scamming, he left the server. As of now he is checking to see if he hopped onto another server.
Edit: I found him, he's temp banned for scamming until the report can be reviewed.

Also, this may not improve the report much, but I was just informed that Kharn noticed him selling the "email servers" for 4 keys before he was banned.

I don't see any clear intent to scam, other than typical suspicious behavior. Can you please provide a screenshot of your chat with the alleged scammer?

Issuing a temporary ban until the alleged scammer's appeal is fully processed.

I am unable to provide a screenshot of the chat during the trade.
During the incident I was having some problems pasting my screenshot onto a document...
From what I see now, it's gone.
But despite the lack of screenshot, I can assure you that it was copied directly from the trade window.
There was no plan to frame or cause malicious intent towards the alleged scammer.

Do not bump reports. This is my only warning.

I am getting sick of seeing you necro post on old forms. Some things are currently timed out as we have other important matters to go through. For example I just wasted time trying to figure out where I have seen this 'selling e-mails' before.

Do not do it again. (Locked until we figure out if we are to proceed with SR/DGN removal.)
