Description:
I was contacted by a Darkly player (Chase) about this person who was allegedly claiming to give people money via steam funds in payment for their TF2 Items.
Looking at his chat log, it is obvious that he has been posting this around asking for items in return for "steam funds".
While Chase was telling me about dan.elliott, he said that someone had just been scammed out of a Key, going by the name of Commander Moneypants (the victim).
After speaking With Commander, I gained a screenshot of his own trade history showing the Key being transferred, and a description of what happened in his own words.
Commander had been contacted by dan.elliott claiming that he would pay $5 for a Key from him as he desperately needed it fast.
Commander agreed, and dan.elliott claimed that the money would be in his account within 15-30 minutes.
Obviously the money did not show up and Commander attempted to get his Key back, with no success.
There is no telling just how many times this person has scammed innocent victims out of their items with the promise of steam funds.

So i do the trade cause i told him this a big loss are you sure and he goes im sure i dont care, so im like okay when should i get the money and he said like 15-30 minutes. Well what i didnt know is that you cant send money through steam and the trade hade gone through i have tried mesaging him back saying i want my key back and that i would fill out a report. And if this "money" i would give it back but at this point i knew there was no money

Open up your Trade history, press the "print screen" or "prnt scrn" button on your Keyboard.
Open up www.imgur.com and press CTRL+V
You should get an pop up, just click start upload.
