i was very disappointed with the game when it came out.

when i had originally heard the rumors, i thought that they would build a diablo game with growing side content.

But in the end all we got was shitty level randomization, which was weak.

i don't mind grind games, but when you grind the same field it gets old.

i don't know how some people did it for so long.

Game was total fail. RMAH was gay as are the items in game. Was fun for the first one or two chars you would grind out to max lvl, only to realize the item drops were shit and never for your character. D2 was awesome cuz an end game character could use low level uniques to get the best stats.

Closing the AH will definitely make the game better. I liked grinding for items and gold for a bit, but the gold botters made the AH prices ridiculously high. You had to grind for a month to afford a potion.

D2 hardcode mode was also a very tight knit community.

it was very difficult for people to amass any sort of real wealth. Trading meant something, items were truly unique.

D2 i can spend 100 bucks and save myself months worth of grinding. The incentive isn't there.
