mic check

I cant get my mic to work. I think it's something to do with it being a usb plug-in and that the iMac is a faggot. I know it is compatible because I did have it working fine, but after the update it will not work. I fooled around with the audio settings in system preferences but it didnt do anything. so if anyone could help that would be cool. thanks.

Change the input to your USB Headset it's most likely stuck on Mic.

Lawl. I've never been an imac fan but it's what we've got here and it runs a lot better now than my pc (threw it into a wall) or my laptop (smashed it with a hammer).

Thanks dude. At first I had the dolphin on crack cocaine sound. It works in steam overlay so its something w/ the game. I adjusted those settings and I got it to work, but after a mic test, it would go silent and not even register any input anymore.

there's a couple threads on the steam forums about this same thing and I found this console command fixed it but: voice_forcemicrecord 0, but as soon as I join the server I get a new sound thats like nails on a chalkboard.

Just let me know if you have any other ideas!
