Stats reset

We had some sort of massive cpu overload when I was trying to clean up the stats database, needless to say it fucked the database and killed the webiste for a short time. So I had to reset it, I apologize to all the stats whores for this issue.

If you were using a sig generator it will need to be fixed.

That's good actually. You would be surprised how many people were asking for a reset already lol. Since we are on the topic, how often should stats be reset? Every 3 months? Every 6 months? Every year?

I say 3 months is perfect, you do your recruitment every 3 months, do the starts reset at same time....What's funny is just before that a few guys were going for knifes all the time :)

2 or 3 month IMO, 2 of two to make it frequent. 3 if we want to make it easy and do it on the same month as recruitment.

agree with stve, i say 2 to keep it more frequent.... 3 is a little too long i think, and does it really matter if we do it at the same time as recruitment?? not really.

3 months sounds good. 2 months is way too short. If it were up to me stats would never ever be reset... ever. All stats final.

Stat's should be reset every 6 months to a year always. If you do a 3 months on the same month as recruitment, I think it will make people try to play more to get #1, trukish, 47, ice, etc. Since their being reset. If they sit too long, some people will be waaaaaaaaay to far ahead and they become pointless

yeah 3 months sounds good now.... enough time to make the stats worth something and to let people try and attain a higher rank (eventhough it doesn't matter), and short enough that you get a reset so you can catch the fiends who play for days upon days.

Yea 3 months sounds fair. We'll just reset stats at the end of every recruitment process. So when the successful applicants are announced, stats will be reset. So 4 times a year. Makes sense?
