whats the current stats situation

can someone please explain to me why we currently have two sets of stats

second, will it continue like this forever, or do we plan on making only one set of stats active.

third, why the need for psychostats, what is wrong with HLXstats, its kind of the benchmark for everthing isnt it?

lastly, how are psychostats derived/calculated, is there a table that i can look at for its algorithm.

i like the way psycho stats looks and how it takes skill and kpd into account. HLStatsX is stupid because you don't even have to do good to get tons of points it's basically about who plays the most.

psycho stats is awesome!!!, and ya i believe it does take into acount skill moreso than the old stats, all the people on top have fewer kills.

What do you mean? just look at the ranks. Nick is on top even though he has less kills than Pyro, smaller HS % and 10 hours less playing time. What else would it take into account to give him rank 1 besides KPD and skill. Because clearly his KPD is much better than that of Pyro's. I mean im sure they take bomb plants and shit like that into account to but not to as great of an extent which is how it should be because the way the stats were on the old server was stupid. all you had to do was have like a 1.5 kpd and play a ridiculous amount of time in order to be #1

i'm asking how it calculates it, the arithmetic behind it, the equations and formulas.

Psychostats is better and here's why. It does not stream the logs, in this way it prevents connecting to the server realtime and lessens website lag and small server lag. The stats are updated every 4 hours. It uses a more complete and complex formula for skill ratings based on more than some cocksucker that camps and runs up a 3:1 kill death ratio *cough*. It accounts for damage as well as bomb actions and other variables. Further to that statsx has security loopholes. Also when you say kpd or whatever in game, those are mani based stats, same as the old TD, they do not correlate with either hlstatsx or psychostats. If you want to see the stats page in game simply type "stats" in chat, without the quotes of course.
